I went digging through the archives and found Roadside ASSistance, one of the first gay erotic stories I ever wrote.
I originally published it on December 24, 2011, and years later, it became one of my first posts on Substack. That means a lot of you may have joined after it disappeared deep into the archive.
There was also some major confusion surrounding the title. At the time, there was a Christian YA romance novel called Roadside Assistance.
Mine was not that.
My version has a busted tire, a lonely Alabama backroad, one fine tow-truck driver, and two grown men with absolutely no interest in keeping things wholesome.
Chris Saturday is stranded after his truck blows a tire. Then Anthony arrives wearing tight jeans, leather boots, and a grin that suggests changing the tire may not be the only service he plans to provide.
What begins as a routine roadside call ends with pouring rain, flying mud, and two men losing every bit of self-control they thought they had.
